Similar to Joy division in the sense no one noticed or got the hints...they just gave us a glimps of what they could have done, it's wierd that the depressed allways come up with great lyrics. Thanks this album is now with my classics. Wish they would make it on Vinyl ;) Cheers

RIP Charles.

Such a shame this unique band no longer exist due to Haddon's suicide. Sound like Pet Shop Boy's yes, but their lyrics have such a deeper meaning than them. Caan served his purpose lyrically but knows that Charles Haddon was one the greatest & underated lead singers in a band, in the UK in the last ten years. Thats not a dig at Chris Martin's crokey lyrics in the mid-nouties. My life to short to wonder why.......

The Original Chazzstock Flyer

On 3 October 2010 the remaining Ou Est Le Swimming Pool members arranged a festival, billed as Chazzstock, in honour of Charlie at Koko in Camden, London. The Kooks, Mr Hudson, Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet, Man Like Me, Daisy Dares You, Kissy Sell Out, Tribes, Ollie Wride and The Horrors performed at the event. The event raised more than £8,000 for charities Mind and CALM. Faris Badwan of The Horrors also dedicated his side-project Cat's Eyes' debut album Cat's Eyes to Haddon's memory.
